Handbuilding Clay Camp (3rd Grade & Up)

This camp is designed for older students who are ready to build real clay skills while still having fun getting creative. Campers will focus on handbuilding techniques like pinch pots, coil construction, slab building, scoring and attaching, carving, and adding texture.

Throughout the week, students will create both decorative and functional pieces while learning how to plan, build for stability, and refine details. We’ll also explore glazing and finishing techniques to give each project a polished look.

This camp is perfect for kids who enjoy working with their hands, taking their time, and bringing big ideas to life through clay.

A minimum of 3 participants is required for this camp to take place. If the minimum has not been met a week prior to the first day of camp, it will be cancelled and you will be refunded in full. Want to make…
